You'll explore some of the area's nicest beaches for swimming and snorkelling, enjoy the vibrant seaside nightlife in Budva, visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site like Kotor, and experience a small fishing village such as Bigovo.

• What type of boat is used for this tour and what are the accommodation specifics?

  You will be traveling on a 16m (52 ft) sailing yacht, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Accommodation includes 5 twin/double bed cabins with 5 bathrooms. Please note that cabin space is limited and sleeping quarters are snug to maximize public space. Cabins are allotted by the skipper based on group gender and traveler make-up. It's possible to share a bunk or double bed with a same-sex traveler and share bathrooms onboard. There might be an occasional smell of engine/diesel fumes in cabins due to proximity to the engine room, but most travel is during the day. Opportunities to sleep on the main deck are often available.

• Are meals included in the tour price?

  Generally, meals are not included to offer maximum flexibility. However, your Skipper/CEO will help organize a food kitty of approximately 70 EUR per person, per week to cover small food items on board for self-prepared breakfasts, lunches, and occasional dinners. Most dinners are taken ashore at local restaurants.

  A fully licensed Skipper/CEO (Chief Experience Officer) will lead the group throughout your journey. They are responsible for sailing, onboard safety, and will provide information on places visited, suggest activities, and recommend local eating venues.

  The minimum age to join this trip is 16 years.

• What physical fitness level is required for this trip?

  This trip has a physical rating of 3. You should be able to climb small steep ladders, walk over a wooden plank without a handrail when boarding/disembarking, and physically carry your own luggage. You'll also need to be comfortable climbing in and out of inflatable tenders at beaches and moving around the yacht in challenging conditions while under sail.

• Is travel insurance compulsory for this trip?

  Yes, travel insurance is compulsory. You will need medical coverage with a minimum of USD 200,000 for repatriation and emergency rescue. It is strongly recommended that your policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage.

  Euros (EUR) are accepted everywhere. You can withdraw money from ATMs, and it's best to avoid changing money at hotels. We recommend having up to 300 EUR in cash, as not all restaurants accept credit cards. Tipping is customary in Europe, typically 10% for wait staff, and €1-€2 for other service providers. For local guides, €3-€5 per day is suggested, and a minimum of 10 EUR per person, per day for the Skipper/CEO.

  You should consult your travel doctor for necessary inoculations and up-to-date medical information. Those sensitive to seasickness should come prepared. Bottled water is recommended in some remote islands. If you require medication that needs refrigeration, bring a cooler pack, as constant power supply for fridges onboard cannot be guaranteed. Sleep Apnea/CPAP machines cannot be facilitated due to a lack of constant power; a suitable battery pack is required.

• Can the itinerary change due to weather conditions?

  Yes, the itinerary may need to change due to inclement weather conditions. Such decisions will be made solely at your skipper's discretion, based on the safety of the group and the yacht.

• What is included in the tour price?

  The tour includes sailing the Dalmatian Coast, a fully licensed Skipper, snorkeling equipment, port fees, permits, tourist tax, and fuel costs.

• How are electrical outlets managed on board?

  Electrical outlets on board are European style with 2 pins (240V) and are only operational while in port. It is recommended to bring an external battery pack for charging personal electronics.

• What are the rules regarding luggage on board?

  Space on the boat is limited. You can only bring soft-sided luggage, such as a mid-sized backpack or soft duffel bag (less than 15kg). Hard suitcases are not suitable for sailing adventures.

• Are there any limitations on fresh water usage for showers?

  Fresh water is very limited on board, so showers are restricted to one quick shower per person per day.

• Are there any optional activities available?

  Yes, optional activities are available, with guests typically spending €30 to €80 per day depending on interest and conditions. Examples include Tito's Villa Tour in Herceg-Novi (€15-25), Kotor - Tivat Inland Tour (€40), and visits to Buća-Luković Museum & Gallery or Tivat Botanical Gardens in Tivat.

  This tour is designed for shared accommodation without a single supplement. Solo travelers are paired in twin or multi-share cabins with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip.

  Illegal drugs will not be tolerated. Possessing or using drugs contravenes local laws and risks the group. The exploitation of sex-workers is also against the tour's philosophy. Skipper/CEOs have the right to expel any group member violating these rules.
